Friendster Re-Write Shoutbox Content Script

This script was requested by a friend. Seems like a rouge script ran under her friendster account and now inhibits her from seeing her page properly. Problem was under the shoutbox section. A css script ran inside the schoutbox, making all the “Div” content invisible. How this hijack happened, I don’t know.

Here’s how to rewrite what is inside the shoutbox.

  • Install Greasemonkey
  • Install this greasemonkey script
  • Open the friendster page and redo what is inside the shoutbox.

After that, if everything is back to normal, you can disable the script or greasemonkey all together.
